Press feed button and power on, keep press feed button untill you see the erro light on-off-on-off, release your hand, then you go to Hex mode. By this mode, usually for printer engineer to detect how is the printing code. Only for R&D use or the detecting using. After pressing feed buttom for 3 times, it will come to normal mode.
